- Overview
The training log is by far the most popular feature we offer. It allows users the ability to track everything from a health and fitness perspective on a daily basis. Unlike many
competitors, our training log allows for multi-sport logging at a very detailed level.
A daily training log is made up of six major areas (Daily Vitals, Diary Entry, Log Entries, Self Perception, Vices, and Measurements) that the user can quickly access through our tab
interface at the top of the screen as shown below. By clicking the tabs at the top of the screen, you can find out the details for each of these sections.
Every screen will also have the date the log is for next to each of the tabs as well as a small calendar icon that serves as a shortcut to the overall training calendar. The other common feature
that all tabs share are the "Delete Log" and "Save Changes" buttons at the bottom right corner of every tab. The "Delete Log" button provides the user with a quick way to remove
the entire day from their training log. The "Save Changes" button must be pressed by the user in order to save all the values entered for their training log. Nothing is permanently
saved for a user until this button has been clicked. A user can move between tabs without losing modifications made on previous tabs, but they must click "Save Changes" before leaving
the training log set of screens.
The daily vitals tab of the training log allows the user to save and later view bodily statistics (blood pressure, body weight, resting heartbeat, and hours of sleep)
for the day as well as a description of any sickness or injury they may be experiencing.
In order to add, edit or delete entries for the vitals the user must click the

image
for the particular vital measurment they wish to edit. By clicking this image the user will be presented with the popup entry box to enter the specific values that he/she wishes to log.
This same behavior can also be achieved by double clicking the row.
Any type of notes or comments that the user wishes to associate with the specific day's training log will be entered within the "Diary Entry" tab section. There are two different
diary entries that can be created; a public and private entry. The difference between the two diary entries deals with whether the user chooses to share his/her training logs with
the public. A user can choose to allow public viewing of their data by selecting "Show Public Data" from their profile which can be accessed by the "Edit Profile" link in the top
right corner once a user is logged in. If a user so chooses to share their data with the public, they can still record private diary entries by entering them in the "Private Diary"
textbox on this screen. Any data entered in this section is only viewable by the user and can never be seen by anyone else.
The "Log Entries" tab is the most heavily used area of the training log. This tab is where users record the details of their physical activities ranging from biking, to running,
to weight lifting. If there is an activity that you would like to track, we can track it.
When a user initially comes to this tab, they will be presented with an empty area as shown below.

In order to add a new Activity or Log Item a user simply has to press the "Add Log Item(s)" button which will present them with the following popup screen. From this screen they can
choose the category of activity (running, biking, swimming, weight lifting, etc.) they wish to log. By selecting this category from the treeview on the left side of the popup,
the list of available Log Items will be filtere in the list on the right hand side.

Once the user selects the Log Item they wish to enter into the log, they will push the "Select" button at the bottom right corner of the popup which will in turn bring up another popup
where the user can enter the details for the selected item. The upper half of this popup will remain static for all log entries. This section include the time of day the user performed
this activity, whether this log entry should be kept private, and a small description/notes about the activity. By default the log entry is set to being public viewable (assuming the user
has decided to share his/her data publicly). The time of day and notes field are optional fields, meaning the user does not have to enter any values unless he or she so decides.
The bottom half of this popup will change depending upon the activity that has been selected by the user. In this example the selected Log Item is "Road Running" which has up to
four fields the user can provide values for (duration, distance, average heart rate, and maximum heart rate).

Once the user has finished entering this information, they will press the "OK" button which will return them to the "Log Entries" tab with the information they entered populated in the grid.
This process can be completed multiple times to allow the user to track as many items as they wish. In the example below, the user has recorded three sets of pullups, three sets
of chinups and one road running session. Each recorded log item within the grid has three icons

at the
end of the row. The first icon (a pencil on a piece of paper) will allow the user to edit the existing entries for the specific row. The second icon (the red x) will remove
the log entry from the grid, and the third icon (two pieces of paper) will copy the row and make a new log entry with the exact same values.
The Self Perceptions tab of the training log provides users with a unique way to evaluate how they perceive themselves on a daily basis. All of the self perception measurements
are judged as one of six values; unspecified, terrible, poor, average, good, and excellent. Another way to look at this is a user self judges themselves on a scale of one to five.
Choosing values for each of these self measurments is quite easy. A user can either click on the intersection within the grid they feel matches where they are for that day or they can drag
the blue marker to appropriate intersection.
Some users desire to track some of their personal vices in addition to the physical activities they perform on a daily basis. This feature is commonly used as an easy way to track and
hopefully lower some of the less desireable activites that interfere with our health and fitness goals. As with previous sections, the user can click the edit icon on the row
for the specific vice and then enter the values as appropriate.
Last but not least, the measurements tab allows users to routinely track certain bodily measurements. Users utilize this feature to help see gains and or losses over time. As with
the other tabs, the same grid interface with an edit button at the end of each row is used to allow the user to enter and edit these values.
